Kristen Giannone
Kristen is a Registered Dental Hygienist. She joined our team just after graduating from S.U.N.Y. Farmingdale with a degree in Dental Hygiene in May 2013. She is known for her enthusiasm for oral health and kind and gentle manner. Kristen was born and raised in Maspeth. She loves forming relationships with our patients. In her spare time, Kristen enjoys working out and spending time with her family and friends. Her favorite color is blue, and her favorite food is Italian!
Denise Quigley
Denise is our Treatment Coordinator and Team Leader. Our very own Derry girl from Ireland! She is a detail-oriented individual focused on patient satisfaction, staff empowerment, and practice image. Ensuring patient treatment is fulfilled is one of Denise's many aims so that the dental health of our patients is maintained or improved. Denise has a background in finance, learning development and dentistry software. Like many, she can't start the day without a coffee, loves traveling, and trying out new experiences. So let her know if you have any to recommend!
Itzel Martinez Gomez
Itzel is our Dental Patient Coordinator. With a passion for customer service, Itzel is dedicated to creating a great experience for our patients. She is enthusiastic about learning and growing, and she also received a hospitality certificate from New York City College of Technology in 2018. Itzel enjoys binge watching series, cooking, and reading crime novels.
Melissa Almodovar
Melissa Almodovar joined the Fitzsimons & Hagan Dentistry team as a Dental Assistant in February 2023. She attended Guttmann Community College where she was enrolled in the Liberal Arts program before making her transition to the dental field as a dental assistant. Melissa’s warm and friendly demeanor is a valuable asset to the practice, making patients feel at ease while receiving exceptional dental care. In her free time, Melissa enjoys traveling, weekend getaways, and spending time with her dog and family.
Doris Billups
Doris Billups is an experienced dental assistant for over ten years, and she is dedicated to ensuring a comfortable dental experience. She joined our team in summer 2023. Doris is a devoted mother of three, a book enthusiast, and a proud owner of both a cat and a dog.
Sarah O'Leary
Sarah is a Registered Dental Hygienist here at Fitzsimons & Hagan Dentistry. She has accumulated over 5 years of experience in the dental field, starting her career as an orthodontic assistant and as a dental assistant serving a population of patients living with special needs. She pursued her passion in the field of dentistry and obtained a Bachelor's Degree from Queens College, followed by a Dental Hygiene degree from Plaza College. In her leisure time, Sarah enjoys going to the gym and indulging in her love for baking. She also has a deep appreciation for country music, and loves to attend country concerts! Sarah's dedication to improving patients’ oral health makes her a great asset to the team.
